Theatre in Education Tours
The most recent Theatre in Education piece was ‘Life’s a Pizza’ – this was based around the subject of healthy eating and was toured to 6 primary schools in West Lothian (it also performed at the Scottish Parliament as part of the Free School Meals Campaign). The project consisted of three parts:
• a drama workshop for primary school participants
• a performance and,
• Continuous Professional Development for teachers.
WLYT have recently secured funding to revive this project – it will tour to ten schools during spring 2006.
