Huge Investment from Heritage Lottery Fund
WLYT have been awarded nearly £25,000 to deliver a high quality project involving senior and intermediate members of the Youth Theatre.
WLYT have recently secured funding from the Young Roots Scheme from the Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver a project based on the history of the Knights Templar and the Knights Hospitallier of St John. The project will involve senior and intermediate members of the Youth Theatre and will explore the role of the Knights as it has many influences on West Lothian. There will also be the opportunity for members to attend trips to places such as Roslyn Chapel and Torphichen Preceptory. The project will be developed over the coming year and is set to be performed in June 2006.
